The bill, adopted by 229 votes in favor and 23 abstentions - without a vote against - is unlikely to continue its parliamentary course.

Three days after the beheading in the Yvelines of Samuel Paty, the Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti estimated that "this text, even if the intention is more than laudable, will not be able to resolve anything".
