Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Tuileries Christmas market is canceled.

It was to be held from November to January, in the center of Paris.

The Tuileries Christmas market, which was supposed to take place from November to January in Paris, has been canceled because of the health crisis, the organizing association Le Monde Festif announced on Monday.

This large market, called "La Magie de Noël", was to take place like last year in the Tuileries garden, in the center of the capital, with a hundred stalls, an ice rink, children's shows and a Ferris wheel.

"Resumption in 2021"

"The 'La Magie de Noël' event at the Tuileries 2020 in Paris will not take place this year due to the health crisis! Resumed in 2021 for a better year," the association said in a statement. Le Monde Festif, an association that promotes the trade of fairground, was created by Marcel Campion. "The fairground king" had set up his Christmas market in the Tuileries garden in 2018 after being pushed out of the Champs-Elysées by the mayor (PS) of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.
