In France, a meeting was held in commemoration of the junior high school teacher, Samuel Party, who died terribly on the street while trying to teach freedom of expression.



Prime Minister Jean Castex and the Minister of Education attended a rally held at the Republique Square in Paris on the 18th local time to commemorate the deceased.



Amidst crowds of attendees, we also had a minute of silence.



Prime Minister Castex posted on Twitter a video of the protesters advocating the country'La Marsayez' and wrote a phrase such as "We are not afraid."



A candle was placed in the center of the square where the statue of Marian, a woman who personified France, was built.



The deceased, who taught history and geography at a middle school outside Paris, was found beheaded on the street near the school on the 16th.



French law enforcement officials have arrested and investigated 11 people, including the suspect's family and friends.
