A roe deer has run this Sunday through the underground tracks of Metrovalencia and
has surprised the passengers who were in one of the stations
of the network, Salt de l'Aigua, where the animal has been seen from the platform.
The events occurred early this Sunday, as sources from Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) have confirmed to Europa Press.
Although the animal's incursion through the subway tracks has been brief,
machinists and security personnel have sighted the roe deer
, as well as a passenger who has shared the images on social networks.
The passengers who were on the platform of Salt de l'Aigua have been able for a few moments to see the animal travel the underground routes in the direction of Aeroport.
Given the warning of the animal's presence,
the drivers have been instructed to slow down
.
No device has been deployed to search for the animal, because it has quickly left the underground network.
From FGV they believe that the roe deer
has accessed the underground routes from the La Cova station
, the first stop after the fork of line 9 towards Riba-roja, which faces the outside and where there is nearby vegetation.
Apparently, the animal has entered at that point in the tunnels, towards Valencia, and
when it has noticed the presence of the trains, it has turned around and has retraced its route
until it saw the outside light and left through La Cova again.
