It is reported that the servicemen of one of the formations of the Southern Military District began marching on their own on their own equipment with a length of about 800 km from Budennovsk to Sukhum.
“The mobile medical unit has 112 servicemen and 30 units of special military equipment.
Upon completion of the march, the mobile multidisciplinary hospital will be deployed as soon as possible to the city of Sukhum, where military doctors will begin to receive and provide medical care to the population of the Republic of Abkhazia, ”the department said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia appealed to the Minister of Defense of Russia Sergei Shoigu with a request to deploy a field hospital in the republic in connection with the increased number of new cases of coronavirus among residents of the country.
