Macron welcomed the ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan

“The President of the Republic welcomes the humanitarian truce announced tonight jointly by Armenia and Azerbaijan after the French mediation held in recent days and hours in coordination with the Minsk Group co-chairs.

This ceasefire must be unconditional and strictly adhered to by both sides, ”the message says.

Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said that Yerevan and Baku will declare a humanitarian truce in the Karabakh conflict zone on October 18 from 00:00 local time (23:00 Moscow time).

Azerbaijan has confirmed this information.
