After the reform and opening up, the development of the two disciplines has advanced by leaps and bounds.

  Official statistics show that over the past 100 years, Jimei Navigation Education has trained more than 30,000 mid-level and senior navigation professionals, winning the reputation of "the cradle of navigators"; financial education has trained more than 50,000 mid-level and high-level financial professionals, with alumni spread across the country 31 Provinces, cities, autonomous regions, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions, as well as Southeast Asia and other countries.

  Mr. Tan Kah Kee’s eldest grandson, Chen Liren, sent a video message saying that although descendants living overseas cannot come back to participate in the event, they feel very honored and excited.
