“From now on, all restrictions on the transfer of arms, related activities, as well as on the provision of financial services by Iran and Iran, as well as all prohibitions regarding entry into the country or transit through the territories of UN member states, previously imposed on a number of Iranian citizens and military officials automatically cease to operate, ”the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Said Khatibzade noted that Iran, due to its own production, provides 90% of the country's defense needs.

Earlier, the UN Security Council rejected a draft US resolution to extend the arms embargo against Iran.
