Skellefteå's young players in the form of Jonatan Berggren, 20, and Andreas Wingerli, 23, continue to impress in the SHL.

The duo accounted for two new points each when the Västerbottens defeated Linköping 3-2 at home.

But it did not start any further.

Linköping went from 2-0 in the first period through goals from Markus Ljung and Oula Palve.

In the middle of the night, Wingerli then gave his Skellefteå hope when he reduced with his third goal of the season, assisted by Berggren.

Before the period was over, the duo, Wingerli goal scorer and Berggren pass scorer, had also arranged the equalizer.

In the third period, the Finn Toumas Kiiskinen decided with just over ten minutes left to play.

So far in the series, Berggren has 13 points (2 + 11) and Wingerli 10 (4 + 6).

- Really cash first period from our side.

Then we turn the tables on others, says Oscar Möller to C More.

- It feels like it has been the problem all year.

The first period was good but just because we get a little pushed back in others we become anxious.

We must solve that problem in some way, says Linköping's Filip Berglund.
