Nine people are currently in custody as part of the investigation into the beheading of a history teacher on Friday in the Yvelines.

Among them, the father of a college student.

A few days before the tragedy, he denounced the attitude of the professor, who had shown his students a caricature of Muhammad, in a video widely relayed on social networks.

Its role is at the heart of the investigators' investigations.

The day after the beheading of a history and geography professor near a college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, in Yvelines, nine people are in custody, including several relatives of the assailant, a young Russian 18-year-old Chechen.

But a parent of a student was also arrested.

A few days ago, in a video widely relayed on social networks, he pointed out the attitude of the victim, who had shown students a caricature of Muhammad published in

Charlie Hebdo.

The father accompanied by a man involved in the Islamist movement

In this recording posted online last week, the man films himself with his phone to point out the attitude of the history-geography teacher, who showed the cartoon as part of the program on freedom of expression.

This father of a schoolgirl is shocked, describes the teacher as a "thug" and calls to denounce him, by disseminating his identity.

Decapitated teacher: what happened during the course on caricatures?

The father also lodged a complaint against the teacher on October 8, then refused to come to the summons a week later.

On the other hand, he went to complain to the principal of the college, and was accompanied that day by a man very involved in the Islamist movement.

The latter is, according to information from Europe 1, currently in police custody.

His daughter was not the student of the murdered teacher

According to the latest evidence from the investigation, the father of the student behind the video is not telling the truth in his post.

In fact, her daughter was not in the classroom the day the teacher showed the cartoon to the students, and never even had class with the victim, having another history teacher.

Perhaps she had heard of the episode in the cartoons and told about it at home.

Still, the video was widely relayed on social networks, including by the terrorist who beheaded the teacher.

This young man of 18, born in Moscow, is the son of Chechen refugees living in Évreux.

He was until now unknown to the intelligence services, and had never been arrested by the police.

Several of his relatives are currently in police custody.
