An investigation was opened after the death of a young man aged 22, shot dead on Saturday morning in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise), we learned from the Pontoise prosecutor's office.
The victim, unknown to justice, was shot in the head, said the prosecution, specifying that no hypothesis was privileged at this stage.
The facts took place in the early morning, around 6 a.m., on a boulevard in the Muette district, according to sources close to the investigation.
Supported by the emergency services and transported to Lariboisière hospital in Paris, the young man finally died, added this source.
The investigation was entrusted to the Departmental Security.
