Due to the curfew introduced in the metropolis of Montpellier (Hérault), to fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, which requires residents to be at home between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., the cultural world has shaken up its schedules.

The Cinemed team, the Mediterranean Film Festival, the 42nd edition of which begins this Friday, indicates that it "is working on a schedule, adapted to new government measures".

The screenings will end at 8:15 p.m. from Saturday, to allow moviegoers to be back before 9:00 p.m.

The same goes for Montpellier Danse, where a good number of shows have been brought forward to 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Or at the Opera and the National Orchestra of Montpellier, whose shows will now allow the public "to be released no later than 8:15 pm".

The Diagonal cinema also had to review all of its programming.

The latest screenings are therefore offered to spectators at 6:20 pm "Other changes are to be expected, we will keep you posted!"
