The new health protocol that employers must put in place to fight Covid-19 was published on Friday by the Ministry of Labor.

This imposes the wearing of a mask in companies, asking them to define a minimum number of days of telework per week.

Those who do not respect this protocol will be in the sights of the administration.

In Île-de-France and in the eight other metropolises concerned, the curfew, which comes into force on Saturday at midnight, will also have repercussions on the way we work in companies.

Friday afternoon, the Ministry of Labor posted a new version of the health protocol that employers must put in place.

The recommendations are more precise, in particular on the use of teleworking.

Companies that do nothing will be in the administration's sights

These companies must indeed now set "a minimum number of days of teleworking per week for positions which allow it".

In other areas (not affected by the curfew), the tone is less pressing, but, according to the protocol, employers are "invited" to do the same.

All this must however be done "within the framework of local social dialogue".

Wednesday evening, Emmanuel Macron had recommended "two to three days of telework per week".

In the protocol, there is no quantum, but companies that do nothing will be in the sights of the administration.

Indeed, the issue goes beyond the protection of employees in the workplace.

It is also a question of reducing crowds in public transport, which is a matter of general interest.

New rules for employees

In areas subject to curfew, companies must "adapt the hours of presence in order to smooth the flow at peak times".

For that, it will be necessary to organize the work so that everyone does not arrive, and does not leave, at the same time.

Regarding meals in the canteen, the Ministry of Labor announces that a sheet will be drawn up, taking into account recent developments, transposing the rule of six people maximum per table to company restaurants.
