15 October 2020European stock exchanges follow the negative trend of the American and Asian markets.

At the moment the Ftse Mib index in Milan marks -1.3%, yesterday + 0.25%.

The increase in October is reduced to + 1.6%. 


In the rest of Europe a similar trend: the indexes of the London and Frankfurt stock exchanges fall by 1.7%, Paris -1.4%. 


There are several factors affecting the markets: the increase in cases of Covid-19, which has joined the recent stops in the trials of a vaccine and treatment with antibodies.

And the stalemate in the United States over negotiations between Republicans and Democrats on a new plan to stimulate the economy.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said yesterday that it is difficult to reach an agreement before the vote on November 3. 


Wall Street closed with a drop of just over half a percentage point with its main indices, in one month, that of October, which so far remains largely positive, especially for the Nasdaq of technology stocks.  


During the night there was a minus sign for Asian stock markets, Hong Kong the worst, -1.5%.


In Piazza Affari, Atlantia was highlighted: yesterday + 9.16%, after the Republic's advances on an offer that would come from Cdp and the Macquarie and Blackstone funds for 88% of Autostrade per l'Italia.

Today -0.6%. 


Among the other stocks, the only increases on the Ftse Mib for Nexi (+ 0.7%), Diasorin (+ 0.2%) and Bper Banca (+ 0.07%).

Greater discounts for Saipem (-3%), Pirelli (-3.7%) and Tenaris (-4.1%).
