The Ukrainian department noted that movement between the two countries has always been "as free as possible", and interpersonal and business contacts are especially close.
Kiev also declared its commitment to "European values" and the protection of human rights and freedoms.
“We will always welcome people in Ukraine who share these values and want to realize themselves in our state,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added.
Earlier, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry handed a note to the Ambassador of Ukraine Igor Kizim because of Zelensky's decree.
On October 4, Zelensky signed a decree on measures to attract IT specialists from Belarus.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers must extend the period of temporary stay in Ukraine for citizens of Belarus who are entrepreneurs and highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology, as well as their family members, to 180 days a year.
