Abu Dhabi Police has warned private vehicle drivers not to use designated bus lanes, explaining that traffic violations will be issued for those not complying with Article 93 of the Federal Traffic and Traffic Law, which stipulates a fine of 400 dirhams for private vehicles driving on lanes designated for taxis and buses in other than authorized conditions.

She explained that, in coordination with partners, she will intensify awareness of not exceeding the lane designated for buses, noting that commitment contributes to enhancing the flow of traffic and reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents.

And she called for the necessity to adhere to not driving their vehicles on the lanes designated for bus traffic in Abu Dhabi, noting that it will intensify traffic patrols and smart surveillance via cameras in cooperation with the Follow-up and Control Center - Abu Dhabi.
