At 5.15 pm, the police received an alarm from an ambulance that picked up an unconscious young girl at Byagatan in the district of Hammarby in Västerås.
- She states that she has been beaten, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson for the police in the central region.
The injury situation for the girl is unclear, but she was awake and talkable when she was taken to hospital.
The police have not been able to hear her yet, but want tips and testimonies from the public.
The incident is classified as aggravated assault and no suspect has been arrested.
