According to the WHO website, 38.002 million cases of coronavirus have been identified so far in the world.
The death toll from COVID-19 has exceeded 1.083 million.
Most cases were recorded in the Region of the Americas - 18.09 million cases.
Earlier, WHO Chief Scientist Sumya Swaminathan said that an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the world may be followed by an increase in mortality in a few weeks.
