Baby Blues, intense joy, post-partum depression… The birth of a baby causes a real upheaval in life, but also in the minds of mothers.

In the third episode of Sage-Meuf, the podcast which tells the crazy adventure of birth, Anna Roy, midwife for ten years and columnist in the Maison des maternelles on France 4, tells you about the emotional states caused by birth.

She gives the floor to two former patients who both had a difficult childbirth and gives her advice to accompany you in this moment of your life.

Joy, tears, regrets, guilt, anxiety too… With the birth of a child, young mothers experience a large number of emotional states.

It's normal.

The vast majority of women experience the same thing.

But sometimes these internal changes turn into distress or even depression.

In the third episode of Sage-Meuf, Anna Roy, midwife and columnist at the Maison des Maternelles on France 4, gives the floor to two of her former patients Emilie and Rosa.

They both had a difficult birth and yet they did not experience it the same way at all.

One collapsed, the other didn't.

What is the Baby blues?

How to get out of postpartum depression?

What can those around them do to best support young mothers?

Anna will share her advice with you to help women be more in control of their childbirth and not feel left on their own when the baby is born.
