"For his great contribution to strengthening the system of state financial control and many years of conscientious work to award the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree, Alexei Leonidovich Kudrin - Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Russia," the document says.
Earlier, Putin awarded actor Mikhail Boyarsky with the Order of Honor.
