Two Asians beat their friend to death

Sharjah Criminal Court considered the case of two Asian people, aged 24 years, on charges of deliberately killing their friend, by beating him with the hands, which led to his death, after they had consumed alcoholic drinks.

The details of the incident, according to the case papers, are due to the receipt of a report stating that a person was killed in one of the areas of Sharjah, following a quarrel that occurred between him and two people following personal disputes, and immediately the specialized security teams moved to the location of the incident, and the cause of the quarrel was investigated, and it was found that the friends exchanged Insulting after drinking alcohol, and they quarreled with their hands, which led to the death of the victim as a result of beatings, and those involved in the crime were caught, interrogated, and referred to the prosecution, and from there to court.

The Public Prosecution charged the defendants with two charges of premeditated murder, by assaulting the victim with beating in separate parts of his body, causing him the injuries described in the autopsy report that killed his life and consuming alcoholic beverages without a license.

The outgoing defense attorney, Ibrahim Al Hosani, said:

The incident, according to the investigations, began when the victim provoked the second accused, insulted his mother, and described her in shameful terms, after which a quarrel occurred between the first and second accused and the victim, and they exchanged assault with each other, and the two defendants dealt heavy blows with the victim's hands, which resulted in his death. .

In the defense memorandum he submitted to the court yesterday, he demanded to amend the record, and to amend the accusation in the first charge of premeditated murder to beating that led to death, which is punished according to Article 336 of the Penal Code, which stipulates that the accused be punished for a period not exceeding 10 years, Whoever assaults the integrity of the body of others by any means, and does not intend to kill, but leads to death.
