With the theme of "Joining Hands to Build a Beautiful Homeland", this forum aims to promote cross-strait youth exchanges and cooperation, brotherhood dependence, and common development.
During the forum, guests at the conference gave keynote speeches and exchange speeches on topics such as "anti-epidemic, youth innovation, and future".
Li Lanjuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave a message to young people on both sides of the strait on "prevention and control of the epidemic and national rejuvenation" combined with the first-line anti-epidemic experience in Wuhan; entrepreneurial youths from both sides shared their own dreams of Zhejiang and integrated development; the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Jian focuses on "digital technology and future life" to guide young people on both sides of the strait to grasp opportunities and innovate in the wave of digital economy.
At this forum, Zhejiang introduced 8 more specific measures to benefit Taiwanese youths: establishing a platform for entrepreneurship and innovation of Taiwanese youth in 5 universities in Zhejiang; supporting the establishment of the Zhejiang-Taiwan Youth Entrepreneur Alliance and a platform for exchange and cooperation between young entrepreneurs in the two places; 50 Taiwanese youths participated in cooperative homestay projects; invited Taiwanese youths to participate in the planning and design of 100 organized villages and rural communities; attracted 1,000 Taiwanese college students to Zhejiang for internship, employment, and entrepreneurship; provided 1,200 Taiwan youth e-commerce anchor training places; invitation 5,000 Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese youths connect with Zhejiang's major development strategies and share development opportunities; give priority to "Taiwan Finance Card" for Taiwanese youths who come to Zhejiang to develop and provide high-quality financial services.
The Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum, held in Hangzhou for three consecutive years, has become an important activity platform for cross-strait youth exchanges and learning, mutual integration and common development.
At the Second Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum held last year, Zhejiang announced five specific measures to benefit Taiwan compatriots, especially Taiwan’s youth.
For more than a year, Zhejiang has made every effort to promote the implementation of various policies and measures to benefit Taiwan, strive to create more opportunities and conditions, encourage cross-strait youth exchanges and cooperation, promote 189 Taiwanese youth registered enterprises and individual businesses, establish 38 entrepreneurial teams, and implement 1,598 A young Taiwanese came to Zhejiang Province for internship, employment and entrepreneurship.
