The embassy said that Norway did not provide any evidence of Russia's involvement in the cyber attacks.

Also, the diplomats noted that they consider such accusations against Russia unacceptable.

“We regard the incident as a serious deliberate provocation, disastrous for bilateral relations,” the diplomatic mission said.

As reported by TASS, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry published a message in which it stated that Russia was allegedly involved in a cyber attack on the Norwegian parliament in August 2020.

In August, Russia protested Norway after the arrest of a Russian deputy trade representative in the country. Also, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the expulsion from the country of one of the senior diplomats of the Norwegian embassy.
