Palestine .. Settlers attack olive farmers, and occupation raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem

A number of Palestinian farmers from the village of Burqa (east of Ramallah) in the West Bank were injured when, today, Tuesday, Israeli settlers attacked them while picking olives from their lands, while the occupation forces arrested several Palestinian youths after raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Walid Assaf, stated that dozens of volunteers and farmers were able to reach agricultural lands, which they were prevented from entering 10 years ago.

He picked the olives. Dozens of settlers beat them and threw stones at them with the protection of the Israeli army.

The village council in Burqa called on the people of the area to go to the farmers' lands and support them against settler attacks.

This comes a day after 5 farmers were injured at the same site, during an attack carried out by settlers, according to eyewitnesses.

The olive harvest season in the West Bank witnesses, annually, repeated attacks by settlers against farmers, interspersed with burning and cutting trees, stealing the crops, and preventing farmers from accessing their lands, according to Palestinian officials and local residents.

, documented video footage, shared by social media users, of the moments of the occupation forces' arrest of young men and boys from their homes and neighborhoods, and their taking to security investigation centers.

In Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested the young Issa Bashir Ferrawi, and searched his family's home on Al-Wad Road in Old Jerusalem. They also arrested the two brothers Hatim and Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti, about two days after the arrest of their third brother Hisham.

Night clashes erupted with the occupation forces in Ramallah, where the occupation forces arrested young men in Kafr Qaddum, Qalqilya, Tulkarm and Bethlehem, at dawn today.

A video clip documented the moment the occupation forces arrested the liberated prisoner, Khalil Muhammad Khalil al-Sheikh, after storming his house in the village of Marah Rabah (south of Bethlehem).

Activists also documented the arrest of the freed prisoner, Muhammad Saleh Shteiwi, 32, from Kafr Qaddum, after they raided his house and searched it.
