Apple unveils the features of the new iPhone 12, the first in the Apple world to integrate 5G technology.
The new smartphone will be available in 5 colors: black, white, red, blue and teal.
The device features a dual rear camera, and is presented as 11% thinner, 15% smaller and 16% brighter than the iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 features a super retina XDR display and is protected by a ceramic shield.
For CEO Tim Cook "it is the beginning of a new era for Apple".
All of Apple's new iPhones will have the ability to use 5G.
5G therefore becomes the new standard of Cupertino smartphones.
This is the first range of iPhones with this technology.
The launch of the iPhone 12 was expected by the markets and comes a year after the launch of the 5G smartphones of the main two industry leaders, Samsung and Huawei.
