A Washington Post and Abc News poll revealed that Democratic candidate Joseph Biden is 12 points ahead of Republican President Donald Trump.

The poll indicates that 55% of registered voters support Biden, compared to 43% for Trump.

According to the poll, the results of which were published on Sunday, the economy ranked first in terms of importance among the voters participating in the poll, with 54% of them expressing their satisfaction with Trump's performance in the economy.

While 58% of them expressed their dissatisfaction with Trump's performance in confronting the Corona pandemic.

Biden was 17 points ahead of Trump when it came to respondents' confidence in the Democratic candidate in dealing with the pandemic.

And CNN revealed that the White House had requested the second presidential debate, which was scheduled for next Thursday in Miami, Florida, due to the president's recovery from Corona.

The Presidential Debating Committee decided to cancel the second debate between President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, after the president refused to participate in a hypothetical debate.

The committee decided earlier to hold the debate in a hypothetical format, taking into account the health and safety of the participants in the debate, according to a statement by the committee and after the Democratic candidate stipulated that Trump should recover first from the Corona virus.

And earlier on Sunday, the US President said that he was no longer a source of transmission for the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) and that he had immunity to the disease.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump added that the tests showed that he would be able to return to the election campaign without posing a danger to others.

He explained in his speech, "I passed the highest test and the highest standards, and I am in good condition .. It seems that I have immunity, I can get out."

For his part, his doctor, Sean Connelly, said that the president underwent a new examination Saturday that showed that it was no longer a source of infection with the virus, but he did not mention whether the results of his tests were negative.

Twitter warning

Meanwhile, Twitter placed a warning sign on President Trump's tweet in which he claimed that he had become immune to the Corona virus.

Twitter attached with the distinctive tag of the tweet a statement declaring the disclaimer of responsibility for the company, saying that "this tweet violates Twitter's rules for spreading misleading and possibly harmful information about Covid-19 disease."

A spokeswoman for Twitter told Reuters that the tweet made "misleading health allegations" about Covid-19, and that the response to it would be "very limited" as is the case with such tweets.
