The UAE government launched a series of consultative and coordination meetings, with the participation of ministers, officials and secretaries general of the executive councils in the UAE, and representatives of federal and local government agencies, to define visions and future directions in six main axes, including government, society, economy, education, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, security and justice And safety, within the preparedness plan for the fifty.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Preparedness Committee for the Fifty-Five, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Gergawi, stressed the importance of intensifying national governmental and community efforts to participate in building the future of the UAE, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and his owner His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, in the year of preparing for the next fifty, to develop plans and directions in preparation for a new development stage in the next five decades, to ensure a better future for future generations.

Al-Gergawi said that the consultative meetings, which are held with the participation of representatives of the federal and local government agencies, come in implementation of the leadership's directives to promote joint work and coordination between all parties, to develop the preparation plan for the next fifty, as well as translate the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to prepare for the next phase By enhancing readiness for the future, and adopting a proactive approach that anticipates challenges to achieve the goals of the year of preparation for the next fifty.

He added that the year of preparation for the fifty is a qualitative milestone in the UAE’s journey, through which it establishes a new phase in the record of its accelerated economic, social and development renaissance, to be the best in the world by the centenary of its founding.

Al-Gergawi valued the efforts of the work teams and the active participation of members of society in crystallizing ideas and perceptions that establish an exceptional stage in the state’s march, stressing that the consultative meetings constitute an important axis in a comprehensive national action strategy, through which the results and outputs of the efforts of the joint national teams and the proposals and recommendations of the community groups are discussed. Which actively participated with the government over the past months to crystallize and develop visions and future directions for the state, in a way that would contribute to designing an integrated plan to prepare for the next 50 years of the comprehensive development process launched by the founding fathers since the early beginnings of the UAE.

Consultative meetings are held to prepare for the Fifty-Year Preparedness Plan, with the participation of ministers, government officials, secretaries general of executive councils in the Emirates, heads of departments and general directors in federal and local government agencies, and agency employees, and review the views and directions developed by the work teams of the Fifty Preparedness Plan, in the six main areas, to raise them to Form recommendations for approval in the Fifty Preparation Committee, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
