The police have initiated a so-called special event after the explosion that occurred the night before Sunday in a stairwell in Länsmansgården, and the bomb alarm that shortly afterwards from a place nearby.
This means that they spend more resources than usual on the event to arrive at a solution.
And already during the night, shortly after the events occurred, the police were able to arrest four people, three after a car chase and one on foot.
"We are on the right track"
The four people are men aged 17-20 and on Sunday the men were arrested, suspected of attempted murder and general destruction.
According to Stefan Gustavsson, it is a sign that they have come a long way in a short time.
- The fact that the prosecutor at such an early stage chose to arrest the four men means that we are on the right track and that a solution may be close.
There is a lot of material to work with and we see good opportunities to solve this, he says.
Known since before
Stefan Gustavsson does not want to answer if the night's events are connected to the shootings that have taken place in recent apartments.
However, he states that the men who have been arrested are already known to the police.
- Yes, they are.
We do not rule out connection, but of course investigate the matter, he says.
At the same time, he urges the public to contact the police with observations they made from the scene in time for the incident.
