The scene, unusual, took place this Saturday noon in the city center of Angers (Maine-et-Loire).

Two men were arrested by the police in front of the gates of the prefecture while they were participating in a demonstration to protest against the obligation to wear a mask in the streets, reports the newspaper

Ouest-France

.

Note: these were the only two people to have mobilized for this gathering which had previously been prohibited by the prefect.

Perhaps feeling a little alone, the two demonstrators had taken care to come masked ...

Checked by the police, the two men refused to disclose their identity, which earned them a ride to the police station.

According to

Courrier de l'Ouest

, they were fined for non-compliance with a prefectural decree.
