Jail closes for hitting daughter with timing belt

A 38-year-old father was sentenced to one year in prison including eight months closed for acts of violence against his own children in Périgueux.

It was the academic inspection that had made a report a few days earlier after the words of a 15-year-old college student, reports France Bleu Périgord.

She had claimed to be the victim of violence at the hands of her father.

He had hit him with a timing belt in particular this summer.

Her little brother was also beaten up.

The father, with a well-filled criminal record (14 mentions), denied the facts and denounced manipulation.

His version did not convince.

He was sentenced to prison and immediately locked up.

He is also prohibited from coming into contact with his three children.
