Teacher Nahid Ahmed said: “I registered on a job site, posting advertisements asking teachers to work remotely in private schools in the UAE. I was contacted, and I received a detailed contract and signed it, and I paid $ 500 under the clause of documentation fees for papers and certificates. After that, I was not contacted again. », Indicating that the contract bears the name and logo of a well-known school, and has branches in a number of countries, and that she contacted her and informed her that she did not know about the matter, and that she did not contract with teachers outside the country to teach remotely, and that this matter was not permitted in the first place.

One of the victims, Mahmoud Yasser, published a picture of a work contract attributed to a private school in Abu Dhabi, indicating that he communicated with him via e-mail after applying to one of the sites, and he was asked to send some papers and fill out a questionnaire that was sent to him, and after that the second party conducted a job interview with him to evaluate it, and he agreed He initially worked with him remotely due to the circumstances of the Corona pandemic, then he received another call informing him of arranging the order for him to travel and work from within the same school.

He continued that, three days later, he received a job offer, and contacted the school's number in the contract, and he was answered and transferred to a person who claimed to be a school official, which indicated to him the seriousness of the offer, and then he contacted the job site and asked him to transfer an amount of money not exceeding $ 100 Fees for documenting academic certificates, then he was asked again to pay $ 1,000 in commission for the site, after which the travel visa and airline ticket did not reach him according to the agreement, to discover that he and others were exposed to a fraud.

Another woman, Farida Al-Sayed, published that she had received a job offer from a government school in Abu Dhabi, through a job site, and she was asked to sign and re-send the offer, and to pay a sum of money to a tourism company, and she asked about the seriousness of these offers, and comments warn her against dealing with these sites. .

On the other hand, officials in private schools, who asked not to be named, confirmed that incidents of fraud against those wishing to work in teaching recur annually before the start of the academic year, and some victims are teachers in schools inside the country, and they are hunted through job advertisements published on social media sites and some Anonymous recruitment sites.

Al-Haiki pointed out that the Law on Regulating Labor Relations and the relevant decisions regulating it oblige the employer who wishes to employ the worker to bear the costs of issuing a work permit, and it is not permissible to compel the worker to pay his operating expenses or deduct the costs from his wages, which applies to the costs of recruitment and employment. He pointed out that the Federal Penal Code punishes with imprisonment or a fine whoever leads to the seizure of, for himself or for others, a movable money or bond, or to sign this document, or to cancel, destroy or amend it, with the help of a fraudulent manner or by taking a false name or an incorrect characteristic, whenever This would have deceived the victim into surrender.

It warned that fraudsters exploit job seekers or job seekers in professional criminal methods, by communicating with the victim through the pages of fake employment companies or social media programs, and asking them to sums of money in fees, with the aim of seizing them through trickery and deception.

It stated that fraudsters are not limited to residing in the country, but rather choose job seekers in the country from abroad, using social media or fake employment services sites.

They contact the target by phone or via e-mail, claiming that they are an approved and trusted company, and requesting to provide them with personal data and accounts, and after that, they inform them of the approval of the job application, provided that the fees are paid.

She called on girls not to send their personal data and photos to such companies, to prevent them from being blackmailed, noting the need to ensure the credibility of the companies before dealing with them, and not to pay any money to them.
