US President Donald Trump appeared, on Saturday, in a public speech for the first time since announcing his infection with the Corona virus more than a week ago, saying that the United States owns an anti-Corona drug that will be launched soon.

Trump looked out from the balcony of the White House to hundreds of people gathered in the garden below.

The White House called the meeting a "peaceful protest for law and order."

Trump said in front of the crowd: "I feel fine ... my health is excellent," adding that his country "has a drug to combat Corona and it will be launched soon."

Trump revealed his infection with the virus on October 2, and spent three nights in a hospital before returning to the White House on Monday.

The president did not clarify whether he was still a carrier of the infection, and only clarified that he no longer suffers from symptoms of the virus that has killed more than 210,000 Americans.
