Xinhua News Agency, Tbilisi, October 9 (Reporter Li Ming) News from Yerevan: Russian Prime Minister Mishustin called for conflicts in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Naka) region in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on the 9th. The two sides immediately realized a ceasefire and resolved the conflict through diplomatic means.

  According to the Armenian News Agency, Mishustin said at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union in Yerevan that day: “We express our condolences to those who lost their lives in this conflict. Now we must ensure that an immediate ceasefire is achieved. And find a solution to the conflict through diplomacy."

  Mishustin also said that Russia will work with other co-chairs of the Minsk Group of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to promote the resolution of the Naqqa issue.

  Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan said at the meeting that Armenia is ready to restart the peace process on the Naka issue in accordance with a joint statement by the leaders and foreign ministers of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

  Armenia and Azerbaijan broke out in a new round of conflict in the Naka region on September 27. Both sides accused each other of violating the ceasefire agreement and taking the lead in launching a military offensive.

In the past few days, the conflict has caused casualties, including civilians.
