Henri Konan Bédié once again denounced the "

violation of the Constitution

", accusing in particular Alassane Ouattara of "high treason" and the Constitutional Council of "

perjury

 ".

The RHDP dictatorship will be defeated

", launched the former Ivorian president, who appealed to the UN: "

I hereby solemnly ask the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to take up the Ivorian file for the establishment of a truly independent and credible electoral body before the presidential election scheduled for October 31

 ”.

A clarification on the objective was made by Pascal Affi N'Guessan.

The slogan of civil disobedience aims to obtain the political transition for the rebirth of Côte d'Ivoire

 ", declared the FPI candidate.

Several incidents

But the meeting was peppered with incidents.

The sound system made its own, making several speeches by high-ranking opposition figures almost inaudible.

"The regime had installed jammers," the organizers get carried away.

They also accuse the regime of having hampered the arrival of activists, in particular by blocking dozens of buses, as in Aboisso, in the south-east of the country.

Several testimonies also point to the stones of buses carrying opposition activists who were going to the stadium this morning.

For the organizers, this explains why the stadium took long hours to fill up when the opposition had refueled during its last meeting in Yamoussoukro a month ago.
