Fourth accused to be questioned on the merits, at the trial of the January 2015 attacks: Said Makhlouf.

The prosecution accuses this thirty-something of having intervened in the search for and supply of weapons for Amedy Coulibaly, in connection with two co-defendants including his cousin Amar Ramdani.

At the helm Said Maklouf immediately indicates: “

I am going to be clear and to the point, there have never been any weapons, it is only narcotics.

I do not understand this terrorism accusation, Coulibaly, I have seen it barely once and a half.

 "

The assessor judge grants him that it is established that if he did cross the killer, he did not know him.

The magistrate also notes that there is no evidence that he would be radicalized.

But the assessor intends to clarify the goal of 5 trips by Makhlouf and Amar Ramdani in the North, place of origin of the weapons.

Especially since during the investigation, the accused alternated silence and changing statements, first evoking visits to prostitutes, scouts for scams and finally, the purchase of cannabis.

“

Considering the penalties for terrorism, why not immediately speak of scams and drugs?

»Asks the assessor.

When I'm arrested for terrorism I know I'm innocent, I think I'm going to get out, why would I admit things I'm actually involved in?"

 »Said Makhlouf defends himself.

He also advances his reluctance to “wet” other people and then as time goes by, his revolt against an “entirely dependent” investigation and his distress at the discovery of his DNA on the thong of the famous taser.

This taser, I did not touch it, I have never even seen it, it still gnaws at my brain today,

 " he proclaims.

His lawyer points out that the hypothesis of a secondary transfer has not been ruled out and that in the absence of irrefutable evidence, the transport of weapons also remains theoretical.

Hypotheses, it's been that from the beginning

 ", denounces Makhlouf, "

but it is necessary to know, it is about the truth which it is about

".
