The Foreign Ministry said that on October 8 Bayramov met with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in Geneva and brought to the negotiators the position of Azerbaijan on the settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“In connection with the initiative of the Russian side, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will pay a working visit to Moscow on October 9 this year,” the ministry said.

Earlier, the Kremlin reported that the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan were invited to Russia on October 9 for consultations.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Baku and Yerevan have confirmed their participation in the talks.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry stated that the agenda of the consultations in Moscow will only concern the cessation of hostilities in Karabakh and humanitarian issues.
