He explained that the criteria for immediate seizure of abandoned vehicles and transporting them to the reservation window have been determined, the most important of which is that the vehicle is without a number plate, or is offered for sale in places other than those designated for sale, or there is damage to the external parts, or without tires, or without air in Tires, broken glass, or without a roof, doors or engine cover.

Al-Naqbi added that when an abandoned vehicle is spotted, a warning sticker is placed on the vehicle by a police officer or the competent committee to remove it within 10 days, and the owner is given an opportunity to remove it from the place from the date the advertisement is posted, and he is notified that it will be transported and seized in the seizure network if the vehicle is The license has expired for a period of more than six months, or has accumulated dust, or there is a change in the color of the vehicle, or it is dyed in several colors without a license, or there are no seats in the vehicle, or there is no steering wheel.

He explained that a committee has been formed to inspect abandoned vehicles in public areas, and in the event that the conditions and standards are met, the vehicle will be transferred immediately and seized in the vehicle complex, adding that the committee, after inspecting the abandoned vehicles, contacts the owner and informs him of the need to remove them, and in case the vehicles do not have a number plate, It is transferred, and the vehicle owner number is extracted from the chassis number.

He pointed out that abandoned vehicles distort the general view of the emirate, and the police are seeking to remove everything that distorts the general appearance, adding that no crime has been detected in abandoned vehicles, and the process of transporting them takes place according to a specific mechanism.

Al-Naqbi added that the vehicle monitoring campaign began in public areas, roads, and squares, and will be completed in the rest of the regions later, and unidentified vehicles will be removed according to the same standards and conditions, calling on individuals not to leave any vehicle without a number plate, as the owners of the workshops were directed through the Department of Economic Development. Not to leave vehicles outside the garage without numbers.
