The home of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was robbed during his participation in the international friendly match against Spain that was held on Wednesday evening and ended in a goalless draw.

The local press reported that a maintenance worker in the house located on the island of Madeira, the birthplace of the Juventus star, and valued at $ 9 million, left the garage door open and a thief infiltrated it and stole some special items, including the Juventus shirt signed by Ronaldo.

And local newspapers reported that the Portuguese police have identified the thief, who was filmed by surveillance cameras deployed around the house and are seeking to arrest him.

Ronaldo bought the 7-storey house in 2015, where his mother, Dolores and older brother Hugo, resided permanently, while Ronaldo frequented it during the long breaks from matches.

The house enjoys wonderful sea views, as well as two Olympic-sized swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a football field, after a 4-year renovation for the comfort of the Don family.
