The ripples of child abuse in a private kindergarten in Thailand are seldom disappearing.

This is because the naked child abuse behavior is revealed as the video recorded on the closed circuit (CC) TV is released.

According to foreign media such as the Associated Press on the 8th and local media such as Nation, an online media outlet, the incident of child abuse in a kindergarten classroom at Sarasat Wittaet Ratchapruk, a large private school in Nonthaburi Province near Bangkok, is growing.

At the end of last month, when a child behaved abnormally and did not like to go to kindergarten, the start was when the parents visited the kindergarten and saw the CCTV while consulting.

In the CCTV video, a female teacher named Onuma Plotprong (30) physically abused kindergarten children.

Onuma pushed the girl's head to the ground and pulled her hair.

There was also a scene where another child's head was pounded on the desk.

At the time, there were also assistant teachers in the classroom, but they did not give any restraints, which intensified anger.

As a result of this incident, parents requested additional CCTVs in each classroom, and as a result, child abuse by other teachers as well as this teacher was further revealed.

Most of the abuse was targeted at kindergarteners who couldn't defend anything.

According to an attorney representing parents, a child care teacher violated children more than 20 times in eight days.

One nursery teacher throws a two-year-old child on the floor and covers his head with a black garbage bag, threatening other children, the lawyer said, saying that if he does not stop crying, he will suffer the same punishment.

One parent also sued the police for sexually abusing Onuma.

It was unbearable to take off her daughter's pants in front of other students, but parents argued that it was more unacceptable to do that in front of male Filipino teachers.

In connection with this case, the police said that a total of 13 people, including child care teachers and assistant teachers, are being investigated for child abuse and other charges.

It is reported that only dozens of cases of child abuse have been confirmed so far.

About 30 parents of victims also sued the teachers for physical abuse and illegal confinement.

At the same time, a lawsuit was filed against the school and teachers for damages of 5 million Baht (about 185 million won) per child.

With this incident, the issue of violence that teachers are wielding against students in the school is also becoming an issue again.

Some high school students recently held a rally to urge education reform, including a ban on teacher violence.

The Thai Ministry of Education also recently issued an official letter to schools to instruct students not to engage in violence, but there are many criticisms that the widespread'corporal punishment culture' will not easily fade.
