"Currently, the Ministry of Health of Russia is working out mechanisms for using the funds received from the imposed income tax in the amount of 15% on incomes over 5 million rubles, in order to ensure the provision of medical care and drug provision to children with serious diseases," the press service quotes RIA Novosti ministries.

It is noted that, if necessary, assistance will be provided to children abroad.

On September 17, the Russian government submitted to the State Duma a bill to increase the personal income tax rate from 13 to 15% for high-income Russians.

Russian President Vladimir Putin came up with a corresponding initiative in June. He noted that the increased tax will apply only to the amount that exceeds 5 million rubles.
