07 October 2020Alex Zanardi, even the biased appraisals confirm the dynamics of the accident that involved the Paralympic champion in Tuscany in June.

"Alex Zanardi with his handbike was traveling at 50 km per hour before the impact with the lorry which was driving at 38 km per hour".

This is what the engineer Mattia Strangi of the University of Bologna claims, technical consultant to the truck driver under investigation for very serious injuries for the accident that occurred to the former pilot and Paralympic champion on June 19 between Pienza and San Quirico d'Orcia (Siena), when Zanardi's handbike collided with the heavy vehicle.

According to what has been learned, the two speeds, both within the limits of the law allowed, would also find confirmation in the consultancy carried out on behalf of the Siena prosecutor's office by the engineer Dario Vangi, professor at the University of Florence.

Both consultations were carried out in mid-September.
