The Qatar News Agency said that the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will receive Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will arrive in Doha tomorrow, Wednesday, on a working visit, after a visit to Kuwait.

The agency added that the two parties will discuss strategic relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them, in addition to other issues of common interest.

And - in a statement published by the Turkish presidency - it was stated that Erdogan will visit Kuwait tomorrow to meet the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who took office after the death of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and will offer his condolences to him.

During the meeting, bilateral relations will be discussed, and views exchanged on regional issues, according to the statement.

The statement added that Erdogan will then go to the State of Qatar to meet Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, "where the two leaders will review opportunities aimed at further strengthening the current cooperation between Turkey and Qatar, as well as exchanging views on regional and global issues."
