The dispute between neighbors ends in blood after sword blows

An investigation has been opened for "attempted murder".

This Tuesday, a 31-year-old man must be presented to the prosecutor's office in Saint-Etienne in the Loire, after 48 hours in police custody.

This suspect is accused of having wounded his 18-year-old neighbor with a sword on Sunday evening during a fight.

That evening, around 8:30 p.m., the police, called rue des Collines in the Beaubrun district, discovered the young man, lying in blood, seriously injured in the abdomen.

The victim, taken care of on the spot by the Samu, was transported to the north hospital of Saint-Etienne in a condition considered worrying.

But his life would no longer be threatened from now on, according to

which relates this affair.

The reason for the fight unknown

Quickly, a suspect, a neighbor of the victim, was arrested at the scene and placed in police custody.

At his home, investigators found a collector's sword in poor condition which was placed under seal.

For now, the origin of the dispute is not known.
