"A fantastic story, in fact, initiated by Berlin by its Euro-Atlantic allies, together with the leadership of the OPCW Technical Secretariat, was continued according to a pre-planned conspiracy scenario," the ministry said in a statement.

As noted, Moscow intends to provide the member states of the CWC (Chemical Weapons Convention) with a chronology of "behind-the-scenes manipulations of the main characters in this performance."

The diplomatic agency expects that the forthcoming joint work of Russian specialized specialists with experts from the OPCW will help establish calm, depoliticized interaction and avoid further escalating the situation.

Earlier, the OPCW said that its experts confirmed the presence of toxic substances in the samples of urine and blood of Navalny.

According to the report, a substance was found in his body, similar in characteristics to Novichok, but not on the list of prohibited chemicals.

During the October 15-16 summit, the European Union plans to work out a response to the situation, taking into account the publication.
