President Moon Jae-in was reported to have written a public letter from the son of a high school student of Moo Lee, an official of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, who was murdered by the North Korean military during an internal meeting held at the Blue House today (6th).

President Moon said, "I understand the heart of my son who lost his father."

He also said, "I send my consolation hoping to endure difficulties with my mother and younger brother."

President Moon said, "The coast guard is investigating various situations," and "Let's wait for the results of the investigation and search of the coast guard."

In an earlier letter, Lee said in a letter that his father Lee had a high degree of pride in his usual job and appealed to him to restore his father's honor, saying that the government's announcement that he had fled North Korea made no sense.

An official at the Blue House said, "The letter was released through the media, but it did not come to the Blue House. When the letter arrives, President Moon plans to write a direct reply to Lee."

The People's Power insisted on finding out the truth through a hearing in the National Assembly, saying, "The President is obligated to answer honestly" to the military's public letter.
