Killed by a bullet in the head in a student residence in Montpellier

A 26-year-old man was found dead on Monday evening in an apartment located in the Grisettes district in Montpellier (Hérault).

The accommodation where the victim was found lifeless by the emergency services is a student residence.

The man presented a gunshot wound to the head, and a handgun was found on the scene by investigators,

 this Tuesday morning from Fabrice Bélargent, the public prosecutor of Montpellier.

The investigation entrusted to the SRPJ

Three people were arrested, says the magistrate, and placed in police custody.

An autopsy will soon be performed to try to determine the precise causes of death.

The circumstances of the tragedy are still unclear.

An investigation was opened, and entrusted to the police officers of the SRPJ of Montpellier.
