White House Doctor: Trump's oxygen level has decreased twice

US President Donald Trump's doctor Sean Conley said that Trump's oxygen levels fell on Saturday, although they have since returned to more normal levels.

He added, in a press statement outside Walter Reed Military Hospital in Maryland, that Trump received extra oxygen on Friday for about an hour.

The drop in oxygen levels on Saturday is the second time this has happened.

He continued: "As with any disease, there are ups and downs."

The doctor explained that Trump's health continued to improve on Saturday night, and that he no longer had a fever.

Trump, 74, is being treated with remdesivir, which prevents the virus from multiplying, in addition to dexamethasone, which is a corticosteroid drug used to treat severe forms of the virus, according to Doctor Conley.

Another doctor, Brian Garibaldi, said during the press conference: "Today, Trump feels relaxed and is energetic. Our goal for today is to get him to eat and drink while keeping him out of bed as much as possible so that he keeps moving and feeling fine."

He added, "We hope that he will be able to leave the hospital tomorrow and continue his treatment at the White House."

And Donald Trump, who is seeking to win the presidential elections on November 3, announced on Thursday night, Friday, that he has the Corona virus.

Many close to him were also injured, including his wife Melania.

In a video posted on Twitter on Saturday evening, the US President said that he feels "a great improvement", promising to "return soon," noting at the same time that the coming days are the "real test" for him.
