Växjö resident Hasse Nilsson is the best in the country at writing schnapps songs

- I have been with a couple of times before but never won, so it feels great, says Hasse Nilsson.

- It's more play and entertainment than competition, but in any case - now I can call myself a Swedish champion, he says.

This year's competition was held at the Spirit Museum and this year the competition celebrates its 25th anniversary.

More than 240 songs were submitted for this year's competition.

And the one the jury fell for was Hasse Nilsson's "Trolleritrick".

The jury's motivation reads: “When Hasse turns water into wine, the jury exclaimed in a blissful grin.

Nothing beats this, Gutår! ”
