Thrown electric scooters in flower beds, on sidewalks and on roads have led the politicians in Solna to propose a new addition to the local ordinances.
The issue will be taken up in the municipal board on October 12 and is expected to be hammered through.

It is of course problematic for many Solna residents with the discarded electric scooter bikes, says the municipal board chairman Pehr Granfalk (M).
The parking spaces will be available in all districts
The selected 50 parking spaces will be located in different districts in Solna.
Improperly parked electric scooters in other public places in Solna can be removed by the city and returned to the electric scooter company.
- At present, we will only collect the electric scooters and let the companies pick them up.
We have not yet decided whether we will charge a penalty fee, says the municipal board's chairman Pehr Granfalk (M).
