The resignation of Alberto Reyero, the Madrid councilor for Social Policies, Citizens, in the midst of the health crisis caused by Covid-19 and on the same day that the Madrid bolt imposed by the Ministry of Health was executed, has awakened the old ghost of a motion of censure in Madrid, in which a possible vote for Reyero with the left could help unseat Isabel Díaz Ayuso from power.

Or that it was the symptom that the coalition government is falling apart completely and Ciudadanos could seek alliances with the PSOE to continue governing and separate the PP.

The tension between both formations, never simple this legislature, has experienced a new episode this week after Ignacio Aguado's "equidistant" strategy to face the negotiation with the Ministry of Health for the closure of Madrid has collided squarely

with that of the Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, allowing Minister Salvador Illa to win the battle of the story.

Nor has it been understood from the Ayuso environment that the vice president was against appealing the Health resolution, as the regional government did on Friday.

Both from the PP and members of his own party, Ciudadanos, reproach Aguado for his role as a

"mediator" when he is part of a government.

In Genoa they even accuse him of "destabilizing" the Madrid Executive.

Meanwhile, in Ciudadanos they still do not understand how the popular part of the Government does not consult them on important decisions and find out "through the press" that it is decided to file an appeal against the Health resolution, for example.

Yesterday Díaz Ayuso called a meeting with businessmen to discuss solutions to the new closure of Madrid, and the Minister of

Economy, Manuela Jiménez,

was not summoned

, they lament with disbelief from the orange formation.

However, both parties consider "impossible" right now the option of a vote of no confidence or that Reyero aligns himself in the voting with the left, despite the fact that he already has a history of changing his shirt before: in 2015 he left UPyD to go to the orange formation.

From Ciudadanos they specify that Reyero who left asking for "unity between institutions", has not left the party, he has simply resigned from his position "for personal reasons" after a pandemic that took the lives of more than 6,000 older people in residences.

He was responsible for his management until he was removed by the

president on March 23, at the beginning of the peak of the pandemic, to establish a single command led by Ruiz Escudero.

Both in the PP and in Ciudadanos they recognize that it is a "very complicated" counseling and the experience of managing it in this health crisis has been very hard, but they rule out that Reyero could give his support to the left, something that Andrés believed possible on Friday Herzog, Reyero's former partner in UPyD, who predicted in a tweet that it could take place next week.

"That [to support a motion] is impossible," they say from their environment, who brand Reyero as a very loyal person with the party.

In addition, there is the

circumstance that even with his departure, two more votes would be missing for a motion of censure to go forward.

As stipulated in article 189 point 8 of the Assembly regulations, "the approval of a motion of censure will require in any case the favorable vote of the absolute majority" of the Madrid Assembly.

Right now the balance of the center-right bloc -PP, Cs and Vox, which supports the government from outside- with respect to the left-wing bloc -PSOE, Más Madrid y Podemos-

is from 68 to 64. If another orange deputy is If he joined Reyero to support a motion, there would be a tie and he would decline, so he would only go forward if there were three defectors.

There is the added circumstance that right now not all the deputies are going to the Madrid Assembly, only a representation in accordance with the deputies that each formation has to be representative to guarantee maximum security in the plenary sessions, and neither has the telematic vote, so there could not be a regular vote.

The possibility of snap elections also seems to have the door closed for now.

"Coexistence is good and it would be irresponsible to call elections or a motion of censure," insists a spokeswoman for Ciudadanos.

In Ayuso's environment it is also clear: «There is no alternative to a coalition government with Cs.

When asked about the call for elections, she always says that she has what she wants, to govern with Cs, which is the party most similar to the PP.
